Reel Cleaning & Lubing..and Spare Parts Too!

We recommend that if your reel is 2 yrs old or more,that its time for a complete "cleaning & re-lubing". Your reel is an investment, so protect it!

We take apart your reel and clean all of the parts inside.We use a non-abrasive cleaner. We then check for worn parts, re-lube your reel, and check it for smoothness.Parts may be replaced at this time, if needed.We use a toothbrush on the frame & levelwind to ensure "clean" function...

If you have a baitcast reel,and we recommend new gears(noisy,rough gearing)we will contact you first.

Were using a new "red" grease for lubing the gears of reels.We feel its better than Zebco's Hot Grease,and the breakdown point even beats Super Lube!

Abu-Garcia Ambassadeur Baitcast Reels Our Specialty!

We recommend,that if your using the "Super Lines",try to limit your reels to #65. The higher poundages create additional stress on the gears & side covers, and if your reel is out of warranty,this can get very costly!. If you have a Shimano baitcast reel,and you have the instant a/r bearing,using 50# and over,eventually this type of bearing WILL FAIL!.If you have an Ambassadeur,try to keep your super braid no more than #80. Reels with #100 or more can cost you your frame,side cover,or gears...

Our Service Rates:  We've been told we have one of the lowest & most affordable service rates in the Midwest.and now with our "first time 10% customer discount",its more affordable(based on the Ambassadeur 6500C3 or Shimano Calcutta 400 series)..Companies like Abu-Garcia,Shimano,Daiwa,and other "small" service shops,charge as much as $30.00!! (and parts are extra)..PLUS some charge for estimates,and add it to your bill!!

Baitcast Reels  - $19.95 each (Drag Washers extra cost IF needed.)

Trolling Reels(Penn 209/309/Shimano Triton TR-200,Okuma,etc) - $23.95

Spinning Reels - $15.95 each  (small ultralights  are $11.95)

Spincasting Reels - $10.95 each. Includes new mono line (this is for reels that have removable spools)

NOTE: The new Zebco's(some),Johnson,Shakespeare,and others,have plastic spools,mounted to the frame,a.k.a. "one shot disposables".I cant wind these in a professional line winder. We can also clean & service "Gander Mountain" reels,but we dont have parts for them... 

NOTE: If we receive your reel,and it will be more than 50% of the cost to service your reel,we will contact you to find out how you would like us to proceed..
