Reel Cleaning & Lubing..and Spare Parts Too!
We recommend that if your reel is 2 yrs old or more,that its time for a complete "cleaning & re-lubing". Your reel is an investment, so protect it!
We take apart your reel and clean all of the parts inside.We use a non-abrasive cleaner. We then check for worn parts, re-lube your reel, and check it for smoothness. Parts may be replaced at this time, if needed.
If you have a baitcast reel,and we recommend new gears( about $23.00) we will contact you first.

We recommend,that if your using the "Super Lines",try to limit your reels to #65. The higher poundages create additional stress on the gears & side covers, and if your reel is out of warranty,this can get very costly!
Our Service Rates: We've been told we have one of the lowest & most affordable service rates in the Midwest.. (based on the Ambassadeur 6500C3 or Shimano Calcutta 400 series)..Companies like Abu-Garcia,Shimano,Daiwa,and other "small" service shops,charge as much as $30.00!! (and parts are extra)
Baitcast Reels - $19.95 each (+ $5.50 if "Next Generation Abu" washers replaced & upgraded)
Spinning Reels - $14.95 each (small ultralights are $11.95)
Spincasting Reels - $7.95 each. Includes new mono line
NOTE: If we recieve your reel,and it will be more than 50% the cost of the reel,we will contact you to find out how you would like us to proceed..
Ambassadeur Reel Gearing Upgrades....
If you have a 4600C3, 5500C3 or 6500C3, and want your reel outfitted with 6.3:1 gearing,or you have a 5600C4 or 6500C4,and you want to slow the retrieve down to 5.3:1, WE CAN DO IT!

Rod Tip Top Replacement
If you have broken off your rod tip,or the insert is cracked,we have replacement tips in stock for most rods,all the way up to size 18/64th!....Prices start at $3.00 a tip
